A retreat at TUJ

Updated: Apr 19

For the fourth time since 2020, I facilitated The Power of Positive Psychology at Temple University Japan Campus.

I had the privilege to have 7 very eager learners. Together, we explored things that drain our mental energy and ways we can regain our well-being.

One interesting realization was that when we do things that are imposed by our parents or the values of the society, if we don’t agree deep inside, we diverge from our true selves.

We feel not satisfied.

Another realization was how daily micro-meditations and reflections could boost our well-being. Simply peeling and eating a tangerine mindfully resets our thought process. Fostering positive emotions and reviewing our personal goals shifts our energy towards well-being. We just have to remember we have a choice.

Please feel free to share your thoughts with me
